Obama Wants Bigger Electric Car Subsidy

With Congressional approval, President Obama will get an increase from $7,500 to $10,000 for buyers of new-technology vehicles, including the Chevy Volt.  The administration's goal is to get 1 million of these new cars on the road by 2015, and a larger subsidy will help achieve this goal.  It will also be a boost for auto workers in Michigan, a critical swing state in the upcoming election.  How much will this cost?  Who will pay?  Read more at:  dailycaller.com/2012/02/13/obama-hikes-subsidy-to-wealthy-electric-car-buyers/
