About Our Polls:
The Clinton County Republican Party uses two types of polls to acquire feedback from county residents on where they stand on the issues.

Poll Types:
The poll that is used most often always appears on the home page of our website in the bottom left portion of that page. This poll is limited in the responses that can be given to a specific poll question. The results of this poll type can always be seen on our home page as people vote in the poll.

Our second poll type is used to gather information by using a webform. The webform allows for a greater degree of input from the respondents. These polls can be found on the "About Us> Polls" menubar drop down menu option. Poll results for this poll type can't be seen as people vote but is released only after the results are tabulated. After tabulation the result s are e-maild as part of our eNewsletter.

Summary:
We find that both poll types help us to tell what is important to our county's residents. These poll results are shared with our elected officials to help them to see where their constitutents stand on the various issues, and hopefulyy to guide their votes on legislation.
